Major General Sanjeev Chowdhary (Retd), Director Editorial is a graduate of the DSSC Wellington, and College of Defence Management. He commanded a new raising Composite Artillery Brigade and a Subarea. He served as DDG (Artillery) looking after modernisation and as Director (Net Assessment). His instructional tenures include one at Special Frontier Force Academy and at Defence Services Staff College.

                         

  

Neelotpal Mishra, DIS Senior Research Fellow is an alumnus of The Royal Military College of Science, Shrivenham, U.K and University of Oxford U.K. He has over 25 years of work experience in industry verticals like Government, Information and Communication Technology, Hospitality, Airlines, Logistics, Manufacturing, Software product development and Financial Services. His expertise are Information and Cyber, Warfare and Technologies. He has a deep interest in Military History & Strategic Affairs and has done consultancy work for various government organizations. He writes regularly on many Historical and strategic affairs topics.

                         

 

Komal Chaudhary, is currently the Editorial Assistant at the Editorial Section, United Service Institution of India (USI). She is a graduate of political science and holds a Master’s degree in Arts from Delhi University. Prior to her current role, Komal worked with Netri Foundation as a communication intern building communication content for key stakeholders. Currently she is pursuing another Master’s degree in Women and Gender Studies.

                         

  

Vinayak Sharma, Research Assistant is an alumnus of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, is dedicated to the realms of international relations, diplomacy, and strategic thinking. With a profound interest in global affairs, geopolitics, and culture, he has been a consistent contributor to numerous publications since 2015, notably the USI Journal. Presently, he is channeling his passion and expertise into pursuing a Master's degree in Defence Studies.

                         

 

Luv Yadav, Website Manager Bringing emerging skills and knowledge in the IT field, including Graphic Design and HTML/CSS, Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree, Luv is an aspiring IT professional with a passion for exploring the vast realms of the IT field. He is responsible for designing and updating the website user interface; handling database administration tasks such as database installation, configuration, optimisation. He is further tasked with managing and configuring  the web servers.

                                                             

 

Ashish Tiwari is currently a Research Assistant at the Editorial Section, United Service Institution of India (USI). He holds a Master of Arts degree in International Relations from Amity University Noida Uttar Pradesh, along with a Bachelor’s (Hons.) Degree in Political Science from Amity University Rajasthan. He has also pursued Post Graduate Diploma in Gandhi & Peace Studies. Prior to his current role, Ashish worked with Centre for Global India Insights and India writes Network as Research Assistant and Intern respectively sharing responsibility managing organisation's social media pages and writing on current affairs events in the realm of International Relations. He has published articles with the international prism on various topics like Indo-Pacific, India’s foreign policy, India's bilateral relations with Egypt and Sri Lanka. His research interests primarily revolve around South Asia and West Asia.

Nishant Bhaiji, Associate Researcher & Editor AR&E has extensive experience in both traditional and digital media. At USI in addition to works related to Editorial section he is responsible for USI Website, Digital and social media outreach. As a former Political Analyst at the Embassy of Venezuela, he effectively managed engagements with India's Ministry of External Affairs and International Institutions. Nishant, an Assistant Professor at JIMMC Noida (Dainik Jagran Group) from September 2017 to June 2022, holds academic credentials in Latin American Studies (M. Phil) and Conflict Analysis and Peace Building (M.A.), qualifying the National Eligibility Test (NET) in 2013.

Mihir Sripuram, Intern a graduate in Political Science from Zakir Husain Delhi College, Delhi University, is currently interning in the editorial section at USI. He is actively involved in assisting with the USI Journal, Strategic Perspective, and the USI Strategic YearBook. His primary areas of interest revolve around South Asia, geopolitics and strategic security.
